Does the postal service in RHODE ISLAND run on saturdays and sundays?

I had something shipped there and I need it there by sunday. I had it shipped on priority but it didn't guarantee it to be there by sunday, just a 2-3 day basis. If the postal service in RI operates on atleast saturdays too that would help a lot.

3. The postal service itself runs 7 days a week, but what you are asking is whether your item will be delivered on Sunday. And no, Priority Mail is not delivered on Sundays. Only Express Mail can have a Sunday delivery, and Express Mail is much more expensive. However, in Rhode Island and all 49 other states, the USPS makes regular deliveries on Saturday. If your Priority Mail item is ready for delivery then, it will go out with the regular route carrier. I hope this helps. Good luck!!
